About Me

Hi. I'm Levi Chavez, also known as thenstop. I am currently in high school and I am planning to major in Computer Science and minor in Information Technology. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and tweaking my systems to get the maximum performance out of them. I also enjoy learning about how the hardware works, as well as system administration and networking. I love Linux, FreeBSD, and open source software as a whole. I am an advocate for freedom of speech and expression, and I love spending time with family and hanging out with friends, no matter what their ideas or opinions on the world may be.

Futhermore, I have many years over experience in computer networking and generally know my way around every operating system. I have experience using Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL/Fedora, and Arch based Linux distributions. I also have experience using FreeBSD, and I am learning how to use the APIs of Oracle Cloud and AWS. I have many projects, such as SpigotV, which is a Minecraft 1.8.8 server software that has customizable knockback, countless performance optimizations, and runs well under highly stressed environments. I also made one of the first MacOS cleanup and optimization tools, called OptiMac. This disables many unnecessary features and cleans up the system in order to get it running in its most optimal state. I have built two computers and I have Librebooted my Dell Optiplex 7010 MT and Lenovo Thinkpad W520. I enjoy learning the latest news on hardware and software in the tech space, and have an unmatched interest in these topics.
